Hello Survivors!
Welcome to the Airport Warriors DayZ community!
We are a bunch of friends who have been playing DayZ since the original ArmA2 mod in 2012. We love the vanilla flavor of DayZ, and we launch this community to add the finishing touches to it!
Our view of the DayZ experience is one that includes both PvE and PvP elements, where there are no rules, no admin interventions, and where there is a stable server platform, long stints between persistence wipes (we are targeting 3 months, updates permitting), and lots of oportunities for base building and raiding.
We currently run a single Chernarus server:

While we want to keep our community as vanilla as possible, we run a few modifications to improve on some of vanilla DayZ’s shortcomings. The whole idea of this is to make the game more realistic and to work around some of the bugs in the vanilla version.

· We have a few other improvements under consideration for the future, such as: notes, longer restraint struggle times, ruined clothing leaking items or falling off altogether, additional combination lock variations, additional base-building constructions, rib/arm fractures, and a long etcetera…
