Server with public access
A friend and I decided we had had enough of the repetitive cycle of looting, trading, keeping up our health and metabolism and discovered there really wasn't an end game with SCUM when it came to PVE. So, after many discussions we can up with a scenario based RP server that would put you in the boots of a military contracted imprisoned on the island. We developed a backstory for the events leading up to where you land on the island. Your character will be part of this and you develop them from your imagination to fit in with the backstory. Despite there being no IP address or anything else specific. All the information you are reading is brand new and the server is currently being maintained ready to go live soon. The server is password protected and if you are trusted and deemed a solid player willing to take part in this story driven server, you will be whitelisted. Welcome to the Special Situation Unit (SSU)
Step into the boots of a military convict and join the elite ranks of the SSU, tasked with conducting daring military missions across the unforgiving terrain of Scum Island.
In this immersive role playing experience, survival, looting, and maintaining a healthy metabolism are still crucial aspects of game play. However, the primary focus is on fulfilling your role as a member of a highly-trained military unit, executing missions with precision and teamwork.
Occasionally you may be asked to play a part in a faction called the Blood Reavers. These are a band of thugs that live within the central area of the maps so-called Badlands. Sometimes these roles will be played out by admins, but if a scenario deems it necessary you may be asked to take part in this faction to add to the immersion of the task at hand.
From escorting VIPs through hostile territory to conducting hostage rescues, engaging in intense firefights, or, gathering intelligence on a weapons stash somewhere, every mission presents new challenges and opportunities for strategic decision-making.
While earning fame points is a by product of the game, (you can earn extra by completing missions and coming back alive) the true reward lies in the thrill of immersive storytelling and collaborative game play.
