The Remnant RP is a hardcore DayZ roleplay and survival server set in the isolated wilderness of Bitterroot, Montana.

The outside world has gone silent. The tunnels and roads leading beyond the region have collapsed or been sealed, leaving those still alive trapped among the remnants of civilization.

Survival here is about more than finding a gun and winning a firefight.

Food matters. Supplies matter. Crafting matters. Your choices matter.

⚔️ FACTIONS

Three major factions compete for influence across the region.

The Iron Shepherds believe survival requires strength, discipline and control.

The Verdant Circle sees the collapse differently. To them, humanity must adapt rather than rebuild what was lost.

The Network survives through trade, information and carefully chosen alliances.

Players begin as survivors with no allegiance. Through quests, reputation and their actions in the world, they can earn the opportunity to join a faction — along with its allies and enemies.

Meet survivors and faction representatives across Bitterroot, uncover their stories and gradually gain access to new opportunities.

Your reputation follows your actions. Helping factions, hunting dangerous enemies and completing contracts can earn their trust — while betrayal and murder can have consequences.

💰 SURVIVAL ECONOMY

The economy is designed around scarcity, trading, scavenging and crafting.

Trader stock isn't simply an unlimited catalogue. Valuable equipment can disappear from circulation, regional markets differ, and some of the best equipment must first be discovered by players before it can enter the economy.

Loot, craft, hunt, trade or work for what you need.

☠️ A DANGEROUS WORLD

Bitterroot isn't populated only by other survivors.

Raiders, bandits and hostile AI occupy parts of the region, while dangerous locations and events offer opportunities for those willing to take the risk.

Contested zones, KOTH events, airdrops, hidden loot rooms and rare crates provide alternative ways of obtaining valuable equipment.

But greater rewards usually mean greater danger.

Establish a home, gather resources, hunt wildlife, grow crops and make use of an expanded crafting and survival system.

The Remnant is designed so that survival remains an important part of DayZ rather than something you leave behind after your first few hours.
